Return Policy 

VIP Scooters wants you to be satisfied with your purchase. Because we sell durable medical equipment and related products, certain restrictions apply to returns for health, safety, and regulatory reasons. Please review this Return Policy carefully before making a purchase. 

 

General Return Policy 

Some items are eligible for return, while others are non-returnable. Return eligibility depends on the type of product purchased and its condition. 

To be eligible for a return: 

  • The product must be new, unused, and in resalable condition 

  • The product must be returned in its original packaging, including all manuals, paperwork, parts, and accessories 

  • The return must receive prior authorization from VIP Scooters 

We encourage customers to visit our showroom to try products before purchasing when possible. 

 

Return Authorization Required 

All returns must be approved by VIP Scooters before sending any product back. 

  • You must contact VIP Scooters within 3–5 days of receiving your item to request return authorization 

  • Returns made without prior authorization will not be accepted and will not be refunded 

  • All returns are subject to review and approval by VIP Scooters associates under applicable guidelines 

 

Restocking Fees 

All approved returns are subject to a minimum 25% restocking fee. The exact restocking fee may vary depending on the product, condition, and manufacturer policies. 

Cancelled orders may also be subject to restocking fees. 

 

Refunds 

If a return is approved: 

  • Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment 

  • Refunds are typically processed within 3–5 business days after the returned item is received and inspected by VIP Scooters or the manufacturer 

The following charges are non-refundable: 

  • Shipping and handling fees 

  • Delivery, installation, or service charges 

  • Any additional fees associated with the original order 

We do not accept third-party billing or cash-on-delivery (COD) for returned merchandise. 

 

Shipping Responsibility 

Customers are responsible for: 

  • All return shipping and handling costs 

  • Proper packaging to prevent damage during return shipment 

VIP Scooters is not responsible for damage caused during return shipping. 

 

Special Orders 

Special order or custom products are non-returnable and non-refundable, whether purchased online, in-store, or by phone. 

 

Non-Returnable Items 

The following items are not eligible for return or refund: 

  • Bath and safety products 

  • Personal or hygiene products 

  • Batteries, chargers, or electrical components 

  • Used or opened equipment 

  • Special or customer-specific orders 

  • Stairlifts 

  • Mattresses 

  • Replacement parts 

  • Lift chairs 

  • Clearance or closeout products 

  • Compression garments 

 

Defective or Damaged Items 

If your product arrives defective or damaged: 

  • Contact VIP Scooters immediately upon receipt 

  • We will work with you to determine the appropriate solution, which may include repair, replacement, or manufacturer warranty support
